What is your expectation in 2012?

Before you can begin to expect a better year, you have to resolve this question in your heart. Most of the time, you experience whatever you are expecting so in order to experience the things you hope for begin today to raise your level of expectation.

In 2012:

Cultivate a heart full of praise and thanks. In everything, give thanks..! When you develop an attitude of thanksgiving towards God, your heart of thanks will not be dependent on whether circumstances change but on God for who He is. A thankful heart will always have a reason to praise God.

Ask God to increase your thirst and desire for Him. The Bible says “He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things”.

Change the way you expect God to come through. God’s ways are far above ours. Isaiah 55:8-11.

“To thine own self be true…” (William Shakespeare). You are unique, one of a kind, an original designed by God and made in His image. Don’t try to be like anyone else and exhaust yourself in trying to fit into the mould of other people’s expectations. God has a good plan, designed solely for you.

Jesus said in Mark 11:24: “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe you receive them and you shall have them.”

So in 2012, believe God and raise the levels of your expectations!
