Call and Care

The Bible teaches us about caring for widows, the elderly and our brothers and sisters in general. It is the responsibility of all of God’s children to care for those who are in need.

The Call and Care team’s focus is to fulfil this requirement by giving support to those who are in need, whether it is support through practical assistance; visiting people in their homes or in hospital; giving a listening ear or encouraging word.

Love in Action – We strongly believe we are and seek to be, where needed, our brothers’ keeper.

Evangelism/Community Outreach

When a church is built it should mean more to the neighbourhood community than just another landmark. Over the years churches have been reduced to buildings, but we at RCM believe that the job is much bigger than meeting within the walls of the church building. The job is to impact the world and there is no better place to start than within the community.

We reach out by letting people know that there is hope for every circumstance:

- The Sad
- The Lonely
- The Abused
- The Confused

We build that solid foundation for the future of our community based on God’s word.

Prison Ministry

“I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.”
Matthew 25:43

We feel that it is vital to minister to inmates, particularly the young, not forgetting the staff of the prison. This work involves ministering within a number of prisons in the South East region.

Our team consists of members of the church working in conjunction with other ministries and established chaplaincy teams.
