Rhema Christian Ministries’ Supplementary School was established in May 2003. Its principle remit is to provide supplementary education to young people in Croydon and surrounding areas.

The age range is 5 to 16 years and the main focus of education delivery is literacy and numeracy. The school aims to supplement and support the education already being delivered to our pupils in their full time school settings. We believe the work we do with young people should not be at odds with their school life. It should assist and supplement the pupil’s schoolwork; hence a literacy and numeracy focus from Key stage 1 to 4.

The school has four classes: 5 to 7 years, 7 to 9 years, 9 to 11 years and 11 to 16 years. We also provide additional support for some of our pupils who are under-achieving or who appear to have mild learning difficulties.

The school is staffed by volunteers from the ranks of the church membership and all personnel, both teaching and support are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked prior to commencing work at the school in line with RCM’s Child Protection Policy.

We charge a nominal fee of £5.00 per child, per session.
