Altar Workers

An altar call is an opportunity made available during a church service where people are invited to come forward, usually to the front, to outwardly express their genuine heartfelt belief, repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.  Romans 10:9; Matthew 10:32; Matthew 4:19.

The role of an altar worker is that of service, providing prayerful assistance to any person who responds to an altar call.  The objective of an altar call will always be for the transformation of lives by the power of God.  Galatians 5:22-23.
