We are Caring
We recognise that a core need for most people is to feel safe, valued and loved. As a church community, in all our relationships we seek to demonstrate care, love, compassion, acceptance and commitment, as we grow and develop in wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the Word of God. The Bible is our basis for all Christian preaching and teaching and is the final authority for living a successful Christian life. (2 Tim 3 v 16-17, James 1 v 23-25, Heb 4 v 12)
We are Holistic
We believe that a holistic approach is fundamental to caring for people within our church community. By this we mean that holism encompasses, spirit, soul and body. It is important that we are sensitive to the spiritual and physical needs of all and that we continue to be culturally relevant yet remain biblically sound. (Matt 4 v 4)
We are people of influence
We believe that we can influence change in our society through prayer. We seek to maintain a persistent attitude that willingly engages in personal and corporate prayer, in which we declare God’s power to effect change in our lives, the lives of others and our Nation. We will Pray Until Something Happens (PUSH), until there is a change to our lives and circumstances.
(1 Thess 5 v 17, Matt 6 v 9-13, Matt 26 v 40-41)
We are a people with a prophetic voice
As ambassadors of God’s Kingdom, He commands that we proclaim the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind. Therefore, we are compelled to reach out to our communities. We are committed to making disciples of men and women through the sharing of our Faith. With confidence, we know that we must be visionaries, fully involved in extending God’s kingdom in our spheres of influence and throughout the world. (Matt. 18:14, Matt 28:18-20)
