AN INVITATION TO RECEIVE CHRIST

Do you know the way to Heaven?

The world says there are many ways to heaven but as far as God is concerned there is only one way to get to that destination – one way, one road.  Jesus said in John 14:6  “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but by me.”  The only route that will take you to heaven is the one written in the Bible by the Author, God.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CONDITION OF MAN

Romans 3:10-11 As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous-not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God.”

Ecclesiastes 7:20 “Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins.”

Romans 3:23–24 “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”

Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own; and the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.

SIN AND THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Romans 6: 23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Ezekiel 18:1-4 “…Why do you quote this proverb concerning the land of Israel: ‘The parents have eaten sour grapes but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste?’  As surely as I live says the Sovereign Lord, you will not quote this proverb anymore in Israel.  Behold all souls (people) are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: The soul (person) who sins will die.”

Luke 13:2-3 And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

GOD’S REMEDY FOR SIN

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Romans 4:4–5 “When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned. But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.”

Romans 5:8 “God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

1 Peter 2:24 “Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.”

Ephesians 2:4–5 “But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead – by (God’s) grace you have been saved!”

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works , so that no one may boast.”

God wants to save and will save if we follow His instructions

John 3:16 “For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:36 “He who believes on the Son has everlasting life and he who believes not the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Acts 16:31 “And they said Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved and your household.”

Acts 10:43 “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins.”

THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION (TO BE SAVED)

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

John 11:25,26 “Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die yet shall he live and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but by Me.”

1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Jesus Christ’s personal invitation to you

John 6:37 “All that the Father gives Me shall come to me; and he that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out.”

THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST – THE CROSS

1 Corinthians 15:3–4 “I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.”

Galatians 3:13–14 “But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.”

Philippians 2:6–8 “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”

Colossians 1:19–20 “For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.”

Colossians 2:13–14 “You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”

Titus 3:4–7 “When God our Saviour revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.”

NOW IT IS UP TO YOU TO MAKE YOUR CHOICE – WHAT ROAD WILL YOU CHOOSE?
